Unlike the quartz version of the Santos, this more desirable mechanical example possesses an automatic movement that showcases the timeless art of traditional watchmaking.
It is fully Cartier and presents in gorgeous condition - it presents as about a 9.5 out of 10. The dial slight aging in one corner - our magnified photos show it much more than it does in person. It is difficult to see in person. The bracelet has very little stretch.
The movement has just been freshly cleaned and oiled, and the reverser wheels replaced with new ones. (They often fail and tend to be in less than excellent condition on most pre-owned examples). All of the waterproofing seals have been replaced with new Cartier gaskets. It is running very true and winds very smoothly.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
